Every aspect of Rachel’s existence is stimulus for creativity. She strives to produce aesthetically rousing results in all of her work, both occupational and personal. The main focus of this website is to promote her passion in life; photographing life and God’s creations. Rachel has been collecting personal photographs since the age of twelve and has accumulated over 100,000 images thus far. She was published by the International Library of Photography for the first time in 1998, then again in 1999, 2000, and 2003. In 2000, at 17 years old, she photographed a wedding for the first time. Since then, she has been hired to shoot informal portraits of a newborn, a toddler, and a friend seeking model opportunities; numerous live musical performances, including Bonnaroo 2006, 2007 and 2009; additional weddings; and the gradual stages of an entire pregnancy. Her favorite subjects to shoot are the outdoors and live music performances. In 2003 Rachel moved to Murfreesboro, TN and began working at the custom frame department in Hobby Lobby. All of the pieces she displays and sells at art festivals are matted and framed by her personally. In 2006, Rachel began shooting for the Murfreesboro Pulse, a local art and entertainment publication. She has photographed several local businesses and events for the Pulse and has had photos on the cover of 11 issues over a 3 year period.
She has also had photos on display at multiple local businesses and participates in several regional art festivals. She has traveled and photographed in: Tennessee, Michigan, Georgia, California, Iowa, New York, Colorado, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belize and the Netherlands.
Obviously you won’t see all of her projects on this website; however, if you are interested in seeing additional work, hiring her for an assignment, using an image in a publication, or placing a special order for framing a photo you see here today, then please contact her.
